Turning left from a major road into a minor road

Do not pass cyclists approaching a left turn

There’s no traffic to give way to.

Keep a good look out for pedestrians crossing or vehicles parked in the new road.

If we turn to early, we could hit the kerb.

If we turn too late, we could encroach on the wrong side of the road.

A good reference point is keeping the kerb in left bottom corner of the windscreen.
